What is an EICR? What does an EICR electrician in Ringwood do?

How long does an EICR take to complete?

What if an EICR is unsatisfactory?
An "unsatisfactory" outcome means the electrical installations are unsafe and that a number of C1 or C2 hazards were identified during the EICR. Examples of hazards include visible damage to outlets such as burns or cracks, live wires escaping out of sockets or lacking RCD protection in bathroom sockets. Electrical faults identified in the unsatisfactory report will need to be addressed and remedied by a qualified electrician within 28 days.
